Clarion
Clarion Hotel – Raleigh, North Carolina. This landmark 20 story round building began life as one of 20 signature Holiday Inns built around the US in the late 1960’s. The renovation included the rejuvenation of interior spaces throughout the building, updating of all mechanical systems including sprinkler and fire alarm, and a new exterior look with glass picture windows in each room. The crown of the project is the Top of the Tower Restaurant and meeting rooms, which were completely reconstructed with a contemporary look, including a new glass curtain wall that maximizes the sweeping views of downtown and the surrounding city.
