NOFO – Raleigh, North Carolina. The proprietors of this 8,000 SF upscale café and retail shop completely renovated the Piggly Wiggly Store in Raleigh’s Historic Five-Points neighborhood. The project included the complete reconstruction of the existing shell, the creation of a 20×30 foot opening in the floor deck to connect the basement to the main level and a two-story window wall. The design offers the best combination of old and new with contemporary details and flair that fit comfortably within the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
