Wilmoore Cafe
The revitalization of 223 South Wilmington St. as the Wilmoore Café breathes new life into a derelict retail and former pawn shop building in Raleigh’s Moore Square Historic District. The building was renovated in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation in pursuit of the Federal Historic Preservation Tax Incentives program and has been the recipient of several awards for historic preservation. Renovation of the building also included a unique rehabilitation of the second floor for office use.
