Principal – Ted Van Dyk has 20 years of experience in the practice of architecture and planning and founded New City Design Group in 1996 after extensive professional experience in both Raleigh and Seattle. Mr. Van Dyk’s vision for New City is to nurture a well trained, close knit team of talented designers, who can bring their talents to bear on a diverse range of project types. The firm is known for their commitment to the quality of the built fabric through thoughtful planning and respect for context with a portfolio that includes innovative commercial design, top shelf restaurant work, and a number of difficult and sophisticated renovation assignments.
